SEED magazine was created by two University of Malta students; Robert Pisani and Amy Xuereb, back in September 2020, with the purpose of exploring novel ideas and concepts. This biannual magazine tackles a wide range of topics, such as interviews, recounts of personal experiences and personal research, relevant in today’s day and age.
The name “SEED” was chosen to represent the concept of seeding of knowledge, and how big ideas can often have small beginnings. As such, the magazine aims to disseminate and help grow such ideas.
Previous topics which were covered in the magazine’s first issue include legal awareness; fat acceptance; videogames and violence; cancer and fertility; and interviews such as that with a local band. You can take a look at issue one here. Authors are free to write about whatever they are passionate about, and wish to share with readers.
The second issue is due to be released by the end of this year. If you’re interested in writing for the magazine and being featured, send a message via their Facebook page or on Instagram (@SEED_MAGAZINE2020).
