Posted On October 29, 2021

The University of Malta’s European Studies’ Organisation (ESO) has proudly launched the ESO Social Activism & Public Speaking Workshop and Campaign which will be taking place at the KSU PwC Common Room on 6th and 13th November.

This workshop is tailored for all students who wish to enhance their public speaking skills and learn about what it takes to run a successful activism campaign from individuals with real-life experience in this area. Each day of the event shall be focused on public speaking and activism respectively. Both days shall include talks and workshops about these areas. Lunch will also be provided, giving attendees the opportunity to network. All of this comes at the cost of just €10!

To close this event, there will be a panel discussion titled “State of Activism in Malta” with representatives from some of the most well-known activist and student groups in the country. This will be moderated by ESO’s very own Social Policy Officer, Amy Mallia. All attendees are welcome to participate and interject with their own questions on the topic.

This workshop is aimed for all University students who wish to develop their public speaking skills and participate effectively in student activism. ESO has a very exciting line up planned for all attendees – starting from the one and only satirist and journalist Jon Mallia to University of Malta Associate Professor and Head of the Media and Communications Department, Gorg Mallia, and so much more.
