KNŻ ‘s International Expo 2021

Posted On November 12, 2021

The National Youth Council (KNŻ) is the National Representative Organ for all Maltese Youth Organisations and youths aged between 13 and 35. KNŻ strives to provide opportunities to such youth on both a local and international level while advocating for youth rights. As part of the KNŻ Work Plan for the term 2021/2022, the Council will be hosting an International Expo to provide youths with a platform to access as well as promote a number of international opportunities available to them.

By the means of this event, KNŻ’s aim is to facilitate the spread of information of less well known international opportunities, together with known ones, to participants present at the Expo. This one-day event is to be held on the 27th of November 2021, at the Valletta Design Cluster from 14:45 onwards. The Expo will consist of a number of stands from 15 organisations which will be there to offer information regarding their organisation and the international opportunities afforded by them to local youth.

Which Organisations will be present?

  • Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU)
  • Għaqda Studenti tal-Ligi (GħSL)
  • TDM
  • Malta Model United Nations (MaltMUN)
  • European Law Students’ Association (ELSA Malta)
  • Pulse
  • International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IASTE)
  • Young European Federalists (JEF)
  • European Studies Organisation (ESO)
  • Erasmus Student Network (ESN)
  • United World Colleges (UWC)
  • European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA)
  • The US Embassy
  • European Parliament Office in Malta
  • Aġenzija Żgħażagħ

International speakers and stakeholders associated with the international sphere are to be present at the Expo where the participants can engage with speakers through a series of panels. Participants will also have a chance to benefit from various prizes. The principal goal is to ensure an interactive event despite the limitations brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

What ages are eligible for the available opportunities?

Anyone is welcome to attend, but most slots will be suited for youth over the age of 18. If below the age of 18, apart from an early start at networking with other young people and the organisations you can be part of in the future, Aġenzija Żgħażagħ will also be offering programs that apply to youths aged 16+.

Do not miss out on this amazing opportunity and get the chance to find your new adventure!
